History shows that Gandhiji went every nook and corner to collect money for Harijan Sewa. Followers of Gandhiji also collected money to do this service to the nation. Some buildings were erected in the campus of Harijan Sevak Sangh out of such resource. A corpus fund was created which at that time was sufficient to run the activities of Harijan Sevak Sangh. There was no financial crunch in this organization.

But thanks to NDPL that now no money is left with Harijan Sevak Sangh. During last 3-4 years Harijan Sevak Sangh has to pay huge electricity bills raised on notional and imaginary basis. Even after all funds are exhausted NDPL claims more bill pending with Harijan Sevak Sangh. Detailed analysis of the bill paid and pending will speak on its own. Now the situation is that Harijan Sevak Sangh is passing through great financial crunch.
